All our lodges are located in northern Newfoundland for moose hunts. We now operate 7 hunting lodges in areas 2, 3, 39 and 45. Success rate is 90 - 95 % for moose. All our hunting camps are fly in.
We can accommodate people with some disabilities. We will do the best we can to make their hunt a success. Hunting is a challenge in most of our areas and good physical health is of benefit to you to hunt in most areas. The majority of our hunters go away happy and content.
Our base camp is located at Raft Pond, near Hawkes Bay. This is where you will be picked up and delivered to one of our hunting camps. While your waiting to be picked up by helicopter, you may want to take in some of the beautiful scenery surrounding the pond.
The wilderness camps can accommodate up to four hunters and four guides for each six day hunt. There is one guide per hunter in all camps, when possible. Where applicable, boats are utilized for transporation of the hunters to allow for increased hunting opportunities.
Each wilderness camp has seperate bunk rooms for the guests, propane cook stoves, wood heat, showers, WIFI and generators for electricity. Home cooked meals are provided, bag lunch items and bottled water are available. Once a guest is successfull, the guide will de-bone the meat and it will be transported to the butcher shop.
